Two new members were welcomed to our Board of Directors this month bringing new energy to Senior Resource Connection's zeal for serving seniors.
Rev. Dr. Candy Hardy is ordained through the African Methodist Episcopal Church and currently serves as pastor of Christ Our Redeemer in Dayton. Her volunteer work has included serving as chaplain at Kindred Hospital, establishing Alcoholics Anonymous meeting places, and partnering with the House of Bread to feed the community. Rev. Dr. Hardy holds various degrees in ministry, divinity, psychology, sociology and accounting. A native Daytonian, she is committed to serving her community and empowering people especially helping individuals gain home ownership and financial independence.
Denise Swick, Broker of The Swick Real Estate Group demonstrates a passion for eldercare though her new program, Downsize Allies which connects seniors to various services that help them transition their household in preparation for their twilight years. A passionate fundraiser, she has served on the Boards of Habitat for Humanity and For the Love of Children as well as on the Hospice of Dayton Hair Show committee and continues her involvement and support in various events and organizations. A graduate of Wright State University, she is also certified as a probate and estate expert, distressed property expert, luxury home marketing specialist and senior relocation specialist. Her career achievements include over 3,000 sales in her 30+ years in real estate, top 1% of all real estate agents nationwide, lifetime achievement for RE/MAX, 2005 40 under 40 recipient and 2008 class of Leadership Dayton.
We are excited to have both these gals on our Board of Directors and look forward to working with them.
