Vel Hux & Bert VanderSchaaff join Board

Our Board of Directors welcomed two new members at this month's meeting. We are super excited to have them aboard.
Vel Hux is a fundraising-ologist! In addition to running her own business, Vel Hux Solutions LLC, she also gives back to the community by educating many nonprofit professionals through Score seminars and serving as a Del Mar Encore Fellow with the Dayton Foundation. She holds a mathematics degree from the University of Florida along with a marketing communications management degree from Duquesne as well as a post-graduate STEM certificate from the University of Dayton.
Bert Vanderschaaff is a local attorney and a model train enthusiast. Since graduating from the University of Dayton School of Law, he has been practicing law locally at Esler & VanderSchaaff Co., L.P.A. focusing on employee benefits and estate planning. An opportunity to deliver Meals on Wheels in his Colorado hometown while in high school helped fueled his desire to contribute to the well-being of our senior community.
