An unkempt home can become overwhelming for our seniors.  If the situation gets out of control, it can lead to an unsafe environment in which to live.  Not only is it a potential health hazard, with an increased risk of pests, but also a dangerous fire and fall risk.  If you or someone you know needs help, there are various funding sources to assist with maintaining a clean and safe environment in an individual's home that are beyond the individual's capability.  These services include but are not limited to:  moving heavy items to provide a safe ingress and egress, non-routine disposal of garbage, pest control preparation and heavy duty cleaning, which consist of washing walls and ceilings, shampooing carpets, cleaning inside cabinets and refrigerator, removing furniture and installing grab bars.
